With Josh being out of town, I have been having trouble sleeping.
I makes for very long days and nights!!!

Luckily, he will only have these business trips 4 days a week for the next 3 weeks. I am not the only one missing him! Zoe constantly is asking for her daddy and wanting to call him. Our poor Beardog has been the worst about it. He just lays in Zoe’s room looking out the window waiting. Poor guy xoxo

I started Zoe back on her lesson plans yesterday, which was much needed! Like I said in a previous post, she needs the structure and routine to keep her busy. Without it she is all over the place!!! She was ready to dive back in too! I spent Sunday typing up her lesson plan and getting her stuff ready for the week. She is a rock star! She has learned to trace her name & sign the entire Alphabet. This was while we were on break last month lol. This week she is learning more about the letter R, number 13, the shape Hexagon, color blue, and we are talking about the weather. It feels great to be back into the groove of things. Idle bodies and minds are a bad thing in this house!!!!

We are almost settled into the new place. I still have 2 more rooms to paint, a little bit of cleaning, and to decorate the place. So far I LOVE this house! We have completed Zoe’s room, her bathroom, the gym, and the kitchen so far.

We were certainly blessed to find this place!!!! I hope we stay here for at LEAST a couple of years!
Today Zoe and I are headed out to go hiking. We are in Ozark Mountain country, so there is a ton of awesome places to hike here! I figured it would be a great field trip for Zoe and I. It will be a great way to be active, see the beauty of nature, plus keep our mind off missing Josh xoxox

When we get back I will hit the weight room for Back day! What are you doing to stay active today? I hope you all have a fabulously fit day!!!!

I love what you’re doing with the house! It’s so nice to be able to paint and really make it YOURS even though you’re renting! I love reading about Zoe’s progress too! It’s bittersweet though, I really miss being a SAHM, my little Peyton is the same – she NEEDS the structure, and thrives at her school, I’m pretty sure we were blessed with the smartest kids in like ever!!!!
Heck yeah we are!!!!!
Zoe has to be doing something at all times! Otherwise it is bad news bears!!!! I will be happy when we are done with the house. just a couple of more rooms to be painted. Whew!
Glad things are starting to fall back into place!
Also… this captcha you have makes it a little discouraging to comment..
I haven’t had anyone complain, well till now lol. Most think it is a cute fun way to weed out spammers. I thought so at least lol. It is only 4 little tasks Thank you though maybe I will see what else is out there.
I love Zoe’s book shelves in her room. Where are they from?
They are actually part of the cardboard packing that secured our stove/oven when it was delivered. I painted them and hung them with L-brackets
Turned out great! I have actually thought about contacting local appliance companies to see if they would want to give me any that they might throw out so I can make more lol
