I decided today to do a quick goal check in and see how I am progressing.
I have been kicking butt at my #2013PlyoParty! I missed Friday because my body seriously needed a full rest day. I made up for it yesterday though. Whew!!! Doing the challenge twice was VERY difficult! More than I thought it would be. The Log Chop and the Burpee pull-ups I think are what were the hardest. Needless to say I had to take quite the breather before I hit the weights for a hardcore back workout!
I seriously laid like this for 10 minutes. Zoe was playing with my phone and snapped a few pictures. I will spare you the red faced pictures lol She climbed on top on me and said smile mama
Love that kid!
Next up on my progress report is packing up the house. I am about 1/4 of the way into packing. We have been getting quotes on moving companies and head down to Springfield on Thursday to check out a house. I LOVE the house we are going to look at! The owner sent me a ton of photos and it looks amazing! I can’t wait to see it in person!!!! Today’s plan is to pack up the rest of what we are not using in the kitchen and to get more stuff together for our January donation. So busy busy busy day!
I have been doing better with my water intake. I do have to constantly have to remind myself to drink though lol. I can tell the difference in my skin when I am not drinking enough. I tend to have more break outs and my skin gets dry and dull. My migraines also start to bother me. That is motivation enough to keep the water flowing!!!!
I have been doing well on my diet as well! I hate to call it a diet, but I have no idea what else to call it. I do tend to be a little more hungry on big lift days like back and legs. I do not get mad at myself for going over a little on those days. I try to listen to my body. If it is hungry, then I feed it. I do make sure I am not just bored or eating to eat. I have also been trying to not go over too much and to keep the extra choices clean.
I have been weighing myself more than I need to, which I swear slows progress lol. I am down 1 pound since my last check in, but I have lost a half inch in my waist and a whole inch in my hips. This is why I do necessarily always listen to the scale
I did not check my body fat%, but I do know it too is getting lower because I can see more of my veins and my muscles!
I have been slacking on my #PlankADay I always forget to do it grrrrrrr. I need to put a sign somewhere reminding myself lol. The Plank Police on Twitter usually remind me after I have missed a few days lol.
The next goal is run. I have sadly not ran at all yet this month. I did however get Josh and Zoe to take a two and a half mile walk with me on family fun day. I am not going to beat myself up about it.
Zoe is and has always been a rock star with her sign language! I have been trying my hardest to not slack in this or her overall lesson plan. It always gets difficult when I start packing up the house. I love her signs and that we can communicate quietly when we need to
Her I Love You’s are the best! Over all, I think I am making great progress so far this month! How are you doing on your monthly goals? I hope everyone has a fabulously fit day!!!!!

Congrats on the loss! I agree sometimes weighing yourself too much is a bad thing. I’ve kinda hidden my scale at this point
And cute cute signing photo!
Thank you and I too normally bury the scale and only weigh myself once a month, but for whatever reason it crept out and I just couldn’t help myself LOL
Sounds like you’re making fabulous progress!! I had a goal of this month to get through my race and I did, so I’m happy with that. Now to work on adding yoga!
